Creating Awareness in the Time of COVID-19

Josephinum Academy believes in Girls Without Limits. Graduates leave prepared for college and beyond, ready to become the leaders the world needs — now more than ever. Josephinum is committed to offering our innovative education to all girls regardless of race, ethnicity, or economic means and works to recruit its next freshman class just weeks after the new school year starts.

Content and Distribution

Content and distribution were adapted to foster flexibility, staff safety, and to ensure that students received the materials. Recruitment materials normally list dates for open houses and shadow days and are handed out in person to counselors, at high school fairs, and at school-hosted events. Recruiting in 2020 has necessitated creativity and flexibility to create awareness and build relationships that drive advancement and admissions.

Materials created:

  • 8 1/2 x 11″ two-sided flyer for students and institutions
  • 11 x 17″ poster for institutions
  • 3″ round stickers for students and institutions
  • Email template

Additional materials used:

Visually the flyer was largely infographic, but the main layout elements and photography echoed the poster and email. The infographics were repurposed for the “at-a-glance” page of the website as well as a spread in Conversation Piece.
